Christian Youth Center (CYC)  / Joliet, IL

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

I used religious imagery to create a distinctive logo for the Christian Youth Center, a non-denominational, Bible-based organization dedicated to the positive training of young people. I also created the tag line, "A Place to Believe In."  For a period of several years I designed a wide range of communications for the CYC including stationery materials, direct mail projects, brochures, advertising and signage.

 

For the Christian Youth Center brochure, I wanted to illustrate the scale of their operation and the scope of their programs. I accomplished this by showing an aerial view of their 20-acre campus, and inside I outlined each of their programs which cover young children through adults. To show how much fun people have at the Center, I selected numerous photos of their members and showcased them throughout the piece.
