Ascent Leadership Consortium / Glenview, IL

 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Ascent Leadership Consortium was organized to help non-profit executives increase their power to lead and inspire others.  I was hired to create the group's brand identity.  I designed their symbol using

a graphic initial "A", comprised of a base with a rising triangle,symbolizing upward movement toward inspiration and power.  The two curved shapes

on either side help to support the feeling of ascending.  The lower case "e" in the word Ascent, graphically identifies it as an e-business.  Gold and purple colors were chosen to convey a sophisticated image.  I also designed the stationery, web site and print advertising for Ascent.

 

The logo received an award from American Corporate Identity, an annual competition which recognizes the best in corporate identity. The logo was also featured in Graphic Design:USA magazine.
